Enveloped in endless Devonshire countryside, The Barn is a secluded* holiday rental for true romantics. Renovated to the Beachspoke standard and fitted with all the modern amenities you’d expect of a high-end self catered holiday home, The Barn is, in our opinion, one of the most exciting places to stay in Devon.
Set across the first floor of a converted thatched barn, a bedroom with an en suite shower sits at one end of the property, and a kitchen/living area at the other end. In between is a large bathroom with a vintage silver roll top bath tub.
*Please note, The Barn shares grounds with a main house, but the owners are rarely there and will never disturb you.
Views of the rolling Blackdown hills can be enjoyed from not only the bathtub but from almost anywhere you stand in the property. The open plan kitchen is yours to create lazy feasts with a Bosch touchscreen oven and after a day’s walking, you can relax in the living room with a movie on the smart TV with the Amazon Fire Stick or stream your own music via the Bluetooth speakers.
With tearooms, farm shops and some idyllic pubs nearby, The Barn is a unique private space for 2 who want to explore the wonders of Devon or simply enjoy the calm of the countryside without having to compromise on living standards.
